LOVE GOD
“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.”

This principle comes first. If we don’t get this right, nothing that follows truly matters. That’s why we gather in corporate worship, hear the preached Word, and pray together — all as an expression of loving God with our whole being.
LOVE PEOPLE
“And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Loving God and loving others are inseparable. To follow Jesus is to live both commands — devotion to God that overflows into compassion for people.
